Mission
Welcome to the web site of the South Carolina Foreign
Language Teachers’ Association!

We hope this web site provides you with the information you need to keep up with what is happening across our state with regards to foreign language instruction. We hope you find the newly redesigned site easy to navigate and full of the information you need most. You will find links to information about upcoming conferences, workshop and other professional opportunities. In addition you will find an important link to our new “Advocacy” page which will offer you tips on how to best support foreign language programs at the local, state, regional and national levels.

This web site is for you, the teachers in South Carolina, so don’t hesitate to contact us if there is something you would like to see on the site. We are happy to promote what is going on in your individual schools and districts!
